Sharon, Vermont – Palmyra, New York – Kirtland, Ohio – and Cemetery Dedication in Nauvoo, Illinois – July 23 through August 8
The highlight of this reunion year was the Dedication of the Nauvoo Smith Family Cemetery on Sunday, August 4th. The beautification of the cemetery, and extensive research with concerning at least 21 members of the family buried there, was a project of the Joseph and Hyrum Smith Family Foundation, by agreement with the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints who owns the property.
