Independence, Missouri
The second reunion was hosted by the Joseph Smith Jr. family in Independence, with Lynn and Lorene Smith directing. Reginald and Allegra Smith and many others created a wonderful program.
The Reunion Theme was, “The Hearts of the Children Shall be turned to the Fathers.” The family got to see original paintings by David Hyrum Smith at the home of Lynn Smith. The banquet was held at the R.L.D. S. World Church Headquarters Auditorium. After the banquet everyone enjoyed, “A Soliloquy of Emma Smith” by Gretchen Booz which was taken from “Emma Smith, the Elect Lady.”
