  1. hi, Joseph Smith is an ancestor of mine, i am related to him through the romney/erying/kimball/pratt line, this line goes onto joseph smith
on my mothers side,. my ancestor issac jay chilton born in wales emigrated to slc was set apart by heber j grant as a seventy. his gt grandson married marylin romney
and on my fathers side through martin henderson harris who married my ancestor georgina maria aldous this line then goes to brigham young and then onto joseph smith
i am not a direct ancestor to joseph in the sense that my surname is not smith, but he is in my family tree
i joined the church in scotland, my father is scottish/my mother welsh. and at the time thought i was all alone in the church, what a joy it has been as i do my family history to find so many of my family in the church and found some even alive today. i just bought a book called 500 little known facts about joseph smith and in it, your organisation is mentioned, so i thought i would try and look you up and send you a message, god bless, your new found cousin, from bonnie scotland
